These holographic hand blown glass vases are available in a variety of what we glass makers call “opaline” colors, and one transparent neutral tone. These opaline colors are formulated to emulate the fiery characteristics of opals so in the right light (that is extremely difficult to photograph) they may appear to have an orange-ish glow. Inspired by these opaline colors, I have melted in beautiful holographic flakes to give an added element of magic and fire. That is what the shiny, crackled surface texture is. The form is inspired by ancient Roman bottles, a traditional glass object. These would make excellent propagation or general bud vases!
